2010 MAR - Kyler & Gideon - Pool sharks?

We have put a reward system in place for this semester. When Kyler & Gideon have a good day at school with responsible behavior, then I take them to the nearby Rec. Ctr. and they get to play pool, fooseball, etc. It's free and they love it. I love it because it's a non-electronic reward and they have had a great semester!

2010 MAR - Gideon's Zoo field trip

I was a chaperone on Gideon's 1st grade field trip to the Phoenix Zoo. Besides the traditional African exhibits of tigers, giraffes, etc., we also saw AZ exhibits - prairie dogs, Mexican Wolf & an eagle's next (the pile of sticks -- it was huge!). We also stopped at the petting zoo where Gideon and his friends could brush & pet some goats.

2010 MAR - Kyler's 1st Boy Scout campout

Kyler's first Boy Scout Campout held out in the Arizona desert. Check out the giant ancient saguaro cactus! We're guessing that it's over 100 years old! Some of the boys got a few cactus needles in them, but they survived. It's a tale they can tell!
